There Again

Closing my eyes was enough to see myself there again. I didn't need to look at the stars to know that it was the same sky, the same beach. This time it was darker, but I could still see hundreds of meters of sand. I started looking for her, as I knew being back in that dream meant nothing else than "You gotta find her once more". After a few minutes I realized a silhouette that was sitting next to the sea and I had no doubt it was who I was looking for. I got closer carefully - didn't knew how I should talk to the owner of the smile that gave me peace. I noticed she was holding her knees against her chest and, coming closer, that she was crying without making any sound. I touched her shoulder so slightly that she took a few seconds to turn her face, but at the same instant it transformed from sadness to the wonderful smile that was printed on my mind and she jumped on my neck, grabbing me with all the strength of the world. "I thought you wouldn't come back", where her first words. I flinched, and then chose not to speak, just hug her back.
